Abstract

During data collection, the Microwave Radiation Imager (MWRI) on the FY3D satellite has several factors that reduce the spatial resolution of the data. However, in complex degradation situations, established deconvolution techniques such as wiener filtering and Backus-Gilbert improve spatial resolution at the expense of noise amplification. In this study, The Non-Local Means(NLM) technique is used to mitigate the amplification noise introduced during the deconvolution process. Experimental results on simulated and actual MWRI images have demonstrated the validity and effectiveness of the method.
