Abstract

In order to get a relatively explicit value of the shear torque, a calculation model for the viscous coupling is proposed in this paper. To get the expression of the shear stress, Oldroyd B constitutive equation is used to describe the characteristics of the silicone oil in the model. The comparison between the model and others shows that the calculation results have a better agreement with the experimental data by bench test.
