An analysis on the outsourcing network evolution pathway: In the perspective of social network

Abstract

The Evolution of Outsourcing Network is realized through the co-act by enterprise's social capital and structural hole. The role of enterprise's social capital is passing through by using the trust as a medium. While the role of structural hole lies in its positional advantage, including: information advantage and control advantage. Implementing with social network theory, the paper analyses the Outsourcing Network's characteristics and working mechanism from the viewpoint of enterprise's social capital and structural hole, and Anally examine this mechanism with case studies of Toyota.
