Abstract

The relationship between speed and torque of power split and coupling mechanism is analyzed. Based on this, the relation between power split ratio, drive ratio and the characteristic parameters of planetary gear set is derived, and the variation range of drive ratio the electric motor with different power can attain as well as the changing law of coupling device efficiency with drive ratio are studied. Finally the driving characteristics of vehicle with power split and coupling mechanism at starting, cruising and acceleration conditions are analyzed, providing references for working out the parameters matching of key components and vehicle control strategy.
