Abstract
Alkali-treated graphene oxide acts as a solid base catalyst to trigger the polymerization of resorcinol with formaldehyde, as well as converts into graphene during pyrolization of the composite precursor. The resulting graphene/carbon composite aerogels exhibit great potential in supercapacitors due to their desirable specific capacitance with excellent rate performance.
