Abstract
In order to mitigate location error caused mainly by non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation, a new algorithm called window function compensation is proposed. By measuring the delay spread of p values, the mean excess delay can be obtained. Window function, whose length is p, is adopted to calibrate NLOS errors. Compared with Wang xin optimal method, the complexity of the new algorithm is greatly reduced. Compared with Jeong method, which calibrates single value, the location accuracy is greatly improved. The computer simulations are done when mobile is in three different positions. The results show high accuracy.
