N2 - An aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active chiral compound, dipyridine diphenyl-substituted butadiene derivative (R-TPCD-PEA), was synthesized by introducing a chiral phenylethylamine. It shows excellent AIE activity and efficient luminescent performance. Optical activity analysis reveals that it has an obvious aggregation-induced circular dichroism (AICD) characteristic. And it is a potential candidate for enantiomer recognition.
