ADS and multi-radar bias registration algorithm for ATC system

Abstract

The data fusion model of ADS and multi-radar surveillance system in air traffic control was analyzed and an ADS (automatic dependent surveillance) and radar system bias registration algorithm using the least square (LS) technique was given based on the conventional method in the multi-radar surveillance system. The optimal solution was presented and the simulation was done based on the simulative fairway point data in the west fairway of our country. The analysis of the simulation results showed that the system biases of ADS and radar data fusion system were eliminated effectively and the surveillance precision is improved.
