Abstract

Vanadium oxide (VO_x) hierarchical structures were controllably synthesized through a solvothermal method in water–ethylene glycol (EG) mixed media. A V₄O₇“nanocross” structure is first reported and observed to exhibit exceptional cycling stability at 0.05 A g⁻¹ and 3.05 A g⁻¹, which could be a promising cathode candidate for lithium ion batteries.
