Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

On the basis of the analyses of the conventional LMS algorithm, normalized LMS algorithm, and variable-step-size LMS algorithm, a new variable-step-size normalized LMS (New VSSNLMS) algorithm is proposed, and the superiority of the algorithm is verified by the computer simulation. The proposed algorithm is applied to adaptive cancellation of direct wave interference in passive bistatic pulse radar. Experiments shows a fast convergence rate as well as a small output error are obtained by the New VSSNLMS algorithm.
