Abstract

The classification of integrity constraints of an information integrating system in distributed environment was discussed. And the active rules to support the integrity constraints among distributed objects as well as the mapping relationship between constraints and active rules were studied. Finally, the rule definition language(RDL) and a scheduling architecture in a CORBA based virtual enterprise information integrating system - ViaScope were presented. The enterprise information integrating mechanism integrates traditional schema integration and distributed objects scheduling methods. Different enterprise logic can be defined dynamically by using the method with a higher flexibility, reusing ability and practicability.
