Active Disturbance Rejection Control for the Stabilization of a One-Dimensional Wave Equation

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

This paper deals with the stabilization of a wave equation with external disturbance in the boundary inputs. Our feedback design relies on the strategy called active disturbance rejection control (ADRC for short). We design an extended state observer to estimate the unknown disturbance, and the disturbance is cancelled out in the feedback loop. Finally, we prove the existence of solutions of the closed-loop system and the global asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. A numerical example is given to illustrate the efficiency of our strategy.
