Abstract

This paper describes a method of acquisition of persons' color pattern by moving camera for person identification. The method acquires a surface color of each part of a person model while tracking the person by a two-dimensional simple human shape model. The camera changes its viewpoint according to the tracking result of the person so that the moving camera acquires the color pattern efficiently. Experimental results show feasibility of acquisition of color pattern and generating motion of moving camera for monitoring.
