Accelerated life data analysis for control rod drive mechanism coil

Abstract

The control rod drive mechanism coil plays an important role in controlling the movement of control rod. This paper investigates the thermal aging mechanism of the coil by analyzing the collected accelerated life data. The Arrhenius-Lognormal Regression Model and Arrhenius-Weibull Regression Model are introduced, and then the parameters and some quantities of interest as well as their confidence intervals are estimated. Empirical study shows that the Arrhenius-Lognormal Regression Model provides a better fit to the data.
