Abstract

This paper presents a dual-polarized bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) that exhibits a quasi-elliptic response with two transmission poles in the passband and two transmission zeros in the upper stopband for both TE and TM polarizations. The proposed structure is using perforated metallic plate inserted by a dielectric cylinder capped with two annular rings. After that, the simulated results with varies parameters of the proposed structure are shown in the paper. In addition, a good performance dual-polarized FSS with wide stopband is realized.
