Abstract

Sampling rate conversion is one of the most important concepts in modern signal processing community; it can be realised by interpolation and decimation operations. Based on the scaling operation and following the idea of the classical results, this paper investigate the sampling rate conversion associate with the discrete time linear canonical transform (DTLCT). First, we derive a new structure of sampling rate conversion for any rational or irrational factors in the linear canonical transform domain, then a two-channel nonuniform perfect reconstruction filter bank in the linear canonical transform domain is proposed based on the sampling rate conversion; the simulations are also performed to verify the derived results.
