Abstract
A trizirconium(IV)-substituted sandwich-type polyoxotungstate, K7.5H6.5[Zr3(µ2-OH)2(µ2-O)(A-α-GeW9O34)(1,4,9-α-P2W15O56)]·16.5H2O (1), was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structural unit of 1 consists of trilacunary Dawson-type phosphotungstate and trilacunary Keggin-type germanotungstate units that are linked by a trizirconium(IV) cluster.
