Abstract
A novel transition-lanthanide-organic chain, Er(pyba)3(H 20)2Cul (Hpyba=4-pyridin-3-yl-benzoic acid), has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Structure analysis shows that two types of units, {Er2} and {Cu2}, interconnect each other by ligands to form 1D chains, which are furlher linked by hydrogen bond and π-π stacking interactions to form a 3D supramolecular network.
