Abstract

Influence of battery pack's parameters on the performance and range of electric vehicles is discussed. A method to select battery pack's parameters reasonably is put forward, namely a method of combined evaluation of the influence factors. The influence factor of vehicle performance and that of vehicle's driving range are defined, and the methods of calculation are listed. Two typical schedules of connection for the battery pack are also discussed and evaluated. From the matching design practice of BJD6100-EV, the reasonability of method of matching is verified. The design method can be used to guide the capacity design of electric vehicles.
