A study on the evaluation of enterprise's informatization level

Abstract

To evaluate an enterprise's informatization level and compare its degrees among enterprises from the view of strategic impact of information technology, the traditional informatization level evaluation indices were extended to include information technology from a strategic aspect, and the enterprise's informatization level evaluation conducted based on factor analysis. Informatization level questionnaire were delivered to nearly 30 enterprises and a survey conducted. The result showed that the strategy status of information technology was of vital importance in informatization level evaluation. The proposed method gave a good comparability and can support the decision making in enterprise informatization.
