Abstract
The process of elastohydrodynamic analysis combined with compliance matrix was described, and an elastohydrodynamic calculation was done using ORBIT as tools with compliance matrix on conrod big-end bearing of a 4 cylinder in-line diesel engine. The results shows that the elastohydrodynamic analysis method combined with compliance matrix is a good and efficient method to design journal bearing of internal-combustion engine.
