Abstract

Based on the diffusional combustion model of metal combustion and heterogeneous nucleation mechanism, the average particle sizes of products in aluminum combustion were calculated. With the calculated results, the distribution characteristics of some factors, such as, temperature, supersaturation and nucleation velocity of the products were investigated. The effect of environmental factors on distribution characteristics and average particle size of the product was also studied.
