Abstract

The target acquisition probability of the laser semi-active terminal guided projectile is analyzed and the flight simulation model is established including simple inertia navigation and the target acquisition criterion. The disturbance factors in the whole trajectory and influence on the longitudinal and lateral distribution are studied. The target acquisition probability of the projectile is computed using the Monte Carlo method. Some strategies are provided to increase the target acquisition probability by the simulation. The result of this study research shows that all the measures discussed can improve the target acquisition probability of the terminal guided projectile.
