A study of design method on precision parking guidance and information system

Abstract

The paper focused on the study of problem of the disorder of parking, backward way of parking guidance, difficulty in finding available parking space in large parking lot, and precise intelligent parking guidance and information system (PI-PGIS) was put forward as the solution to the problem. The design method of the basic framework, hierarchy of the network, and other parks of PI-PGIS were deeply explored; and the principles of parking guidance logic and its design method were innovative, and the procedures of parking guidance logic design were summed up. Furthermore, the research and development of PI-PGIS in network, hardware, and software was conducted, and draw out the method of system implementation. Finally, the system was installed in Beijing Cuiwei Shopping Mall, and experiment was carried out to verify the system effects.
