Abstract

Shifting failure is one significant problem in the existed BEV-AMT control method. This paper analyzed the possible reason of the problem, and presented a redundant shift control strategy whose control parameter of allowable time was determined by existed experiment data and Burr probability analysis. At last, a battery electric passenger vehicle was used for the experimentation, and the results shown that the redundant shift control prevented the gearbox from shift failure effectively and the control parameter determined reasonably.
