N2 - The high proportion of wind farms connected to the local power grid may impact voltage stability. While existing grid codes and technical standards have addressed this issue and introduced relevant solutions, primarily relying on wind farm control during voltage disturbances. Effectively assessing the voltage support from wind farms remains challenging. This paper proposes a new assessment method that not only comprehensively considers potential influencing factors of voltage support ability but also provides quantitative assessment results to support grid operators' decisions. This paper considers impacts from both wind farm and grid sides, which mainly include wind farm and grid parameters and operational conditions. Based on these factors, the paper establishes a comprehensive wind farm voltage support capacity assessment index system. Finally, an improved sinusoidal whitening weight function is proposed to quantitatively solve the weighted assessment index system.
