abstract = "A probabilistic shaping 64QAM scheme based on multilevel coded modulation is proposed, which combines the advantages of multilevel coded modulation and probabilistic shaping. The scheme combines several encoders with common rates through multilevel coded modulation. It can realize codewords with multiple code rates and save cost effectively. A simulation system is established to verify the performance of the proposed scheme. The results show that the proposed scheme requires lower SNR under the same BER while achieving higher code rate.",
