Abstract
Traditional space-based bistatic radar sea clutter models often approximate Earth as a sphere, leading to insufficient accuracy. This paper proposes a pixel-level clutter modeling method based on bistatic range resolution. The WGS-84 ellipsoid model and high-precision orbital propagation ensure accurate platform motion data, while the Gerstner wave model captures dynamic sea surface characteristics. A scattering coefficient model achieves high-precision sea clutter simulation. Experimental results validate the method's effectiveness in modeling scattering properties and capturing Doppler broadening phenomena under varying sea states. This approach simplifies geometric computations and enables pixel-level customization of scattering characteristics, providing a novel solution for space-based bistatic sea clutter simulation.
