Abstract

In this paper, a new design of Van Atta reflector array is proposed, a circularly polarized antenna is designed as the array element based on circularly polarized patch antenna, and a 16-element circularly polarized Van Atta directional retrospective circular arrangement array is designed to solve the problems of limited angular coverage and insufficient gain in Xband applications of traditional Van Atta arrays. According to the post-simulation results, the maximum enhancement amplitude of RCS at 9.55 GHz, 9.65 GHz, and 9.75 GHz can reach more than 30 dB.
