A parallel acquisition algorithm for multichannel spread spectrum signals

Abstract

In order to shorten the acquisition time of multichannel combined acquisition, a new parallel acquisition algorithm is proposed. Several code sequences are added as a new code sequence. The input signal is correlated with the new code sequence. After detection of input signal, each channel would be detected again. Analysis and simulation results showed that the new parallel acquisition algorithm can effectively shorten the acquisition time without increasing resources. But the new parallel acquisition algorithm decreases correlation signal noise ratio (SNR) slightly which is suitable for multichannel signals' fast acquisition.
