A Novel Resonant DC-DC Converter with Wide Voltage Gain

Abstract

A novel resonant DC-DC converter is proposed in this article. By adding a capacitor to form a notch network, a zero voltage gain point is introduced into the voltage gain curve. The control strategy adopts traditional variable frequency control, and the system has good soft-switching characteristics and a wide voltage gain range. The structure, working mode, and the influence of parameters on the circuit characteristics are discussed. Finally, a 1-kW prototype is simulated and the results is given. The converter achieves an output voltage of 400V under the range of input voltage is 200-600V.
