Abstract
In this letter, we propose an environment-coupled integrated sensing and communications channel model in vehicle-to-everything scenarios. The target channel composed of pedestrians and vehicles and the background channel contributed by buildings are modeled and characterized. The correlation between the mono-static and bi-static sensing modes is investigated. For the target channel, we propose a novel algorithm for valid target generation based on vector maps and a single/multiple scattering centers radar cross-section model. For the background channel, we propose a map-based approach for cluster generation and path loss predictively modeling. The proposed model is implemented and validated by ray tracing.
