Abstract

We have developed a high-intensity, tunable non-collinear optical parametric amplifier (NOPA). This setup uses multiple fused silica (SiO2) plates to generate high-pulse-energy supercontinuum white light as the seed. By employing pump pulses and the seed light for optical parametric amplification, we produce a highly coherent, tunable femtosecond pulsed laser. This approach of leveraging high-pulse-energy white light to boost the NOPA's output energy addresses the increasing demand for enhanced NOPA light sources in ultrafast science and nonlinear optics.
