A new type of emulsion explosive and its preparation process

Abstract

A new emulsion explosive was designed and its preparation process was studied in terms of the addition level of PAMAM, concentration of additive PAMAM, temperature and mode of sensitization, etc. The effect of technological condition on the stability and that of addition of PAMAM on the detonation velocity of the explosive were also studied. The results showed that the detonation velocity is increased somewhat after the explosive is stabilized by addition of PAMAM.
