Abstract

A new steroid, Δ⁵-3β,8β,14β-trihydroxy-11α,12β-O-dibenzoyl-pregnane, was isolated from Dregea sinensis Hemsl., along with Δ⁵-3β,8β,14β-trihydroxy-11α,12β-O-ditigloyl-pregnane. The structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra and HR-ESI-MS analysis.
