Abstract

In this paper, a new method for modeling and simulation of coherent correlated K-distributed clutter is proposed. First, the proposed method in this paper proves that coherent K-distributed clutter, with any scale parameter, can be modeled by weighted sum of product of Gaussian random sequences; then, according to cross-power spectrum density, a realizable filter is proposed, which makes up the shortage of ZMNL (zero memory nonlinearity transformation) method that the filter is not realizable; and, a method for correlated K-distributed clutter is proposed, which can generate clutter with any arbitrary ACF (autocorrelation function). Analysis and simulation show that this new method, compared with classic methods, doesn't need to calculate complex operation, has realizable filter and can generate coherent correlated clutter with any arbitrary ACF, and that it is fit for quick software and hardware implement.
