Abstract
In this paper, a new method is proposed for estimating the quadratically coupled frequency pairs (QC pairs) in a noise-corrupted complex harmonic process. This method constructs a simple matrix by exploiting a two-dimensional characteristic polynomial of complex third-order cumulants. QC pairs are yielded by combining singular value decomposition (SVD) and total least squares (TLS). Simulations are provided to show the accuracy and high-resolution performance of this method.
