Abstract

The paper analyzes the influence of ISI (intersymbol interference) on the method using the whole guard interval (GI) of the OFDM signal to estimate the fine frequency offset, and then proposes an improved method, which is based on the method of K. Takahashi and T. Saba (see Proc. IEEE GLOBECOM'01, vol.1, p.524-8, 2001). The performances of these methods are simulated under AGWN and 20-ray multipath channel models. The result demonstrate that our proposed method has good performance.
