A new dual band power divider with extreme power dividing ratio

Abstract

This paper presents the design of a new dual band power divider realized on double-sided parallel-strip line (DSPSL). The proposed structure mainly features a simple planar structure with extreme power dividing ratio, wide bandwidth, excellent isolation and frequency-independent output phase performance for dual band application. Closed-form equations are derived for design parameters. For verification purpose, the simulated and measured results of a dual band power divider with power dividing ratio of 20:1 are shown.
