Abstract

In order to improve the dynamic characteristics, load capacity and bandwidth of the power amplifier which is used to driving piezoelectric actuators, a novel high-voltage power amplifier based on multi-unit floating cascade topology is developed by using multiple independent high-precision power amplifier units cascade. To improve the stability, an effective dual-channel feedback compensation strategy is developed. Experimental results show that the output voltage amplitude is 0-1000V, the maximum output power is 1KVA, the large signal bandwidth is over 1KHz/0.3uF, and the static ripple is 100mV. It can satisfy the system requirements of low ripple, high accuracy, large bandwidth, short response time and excellent load capacity.
