Abstract

Discrete chirp-Fourier transform (DCFT) is proposed recently in [1], which can be used to detect both the linear frequencies and the frequency varying rate (chirp rate) at the same time. In this paper, we presented a modified DCFT (MDCFT) schemes, some properties similar to DCFT in [1] are also studied. Compared to the DCFT in [1], theoretical and simulation results have shown that the MDCFT can further improve the resolution of chirp rate of the detected signals.
