N2 - To meet the electricity demand for fieldwork applications where the grid is unavailable, a mobile power generation station driven by wind, solar and diesel is presented in this paper. Different from the conventional solutions where the diesel is the sole source, the proposed approach utilizes the wind and solar as the main sources while the diesel is used as back-up. With a reasonable capacity configuration, this proposed design highly increases the service time and reduces the dependence on traditional sources. Therefore, the proposed solution is suitable for the long-term fieldwork application in remote areas. Finally, a practical mobile power generation station has been presented.
