Abstract
The capability of feedback in dealing with internal and external uncertainities for a class of p-th order nonlinear autoregressive control systems was studied. The lipschitz constant of the uncertain nonlinear function was used to describe the size of the uncertainity. Results showed that a globally stabilizing feedback did not exist for the corresponding class of uncertain systems. A quantitative limit to the capability of feedback mechanism in dealing with structural uncertainities was found.
