Abstract
The frequency agility technology is widely employed in current radar system to improve the capability of the anti-jamming and the precision of tracking. However, it's difficult to utilize the phase information in the frequency-agile radar system because the target motion and varying frequency disrupt the coherence of the echo phase. In this article, we present a coherent integration algorithm with a joint estimator based on the globalized Nelder-Mead algorithm. Several simulation results show that the proposed method achieves similar or better coherent integration performance with high computational efficiency, compared with the grid search method.
