Abstract

We propose a robust DSP scheme to compensate for transmitter IQ imbalance and conduct effective phase recovery in coherent systems. Compared with conventional equalization, our proposed algorithm achieves more than 2 dB and a maximum 32.67% improvement of Q-factor at wide-range and multiple imbalance combinations, respectively.
