A high performance digital pulse compression system

Abstract

To develop high performance digital pulse compression system, the hardware platform was made with the general DSP processor TMS320C31 as its center, and the method of FFT in frequency domain was used. A pipeline architecture was proposed, and the digital pulse compression system was achieved, the performance of this system was analyzed. At last some experimental result of the pulse compression was given. A high accuracy and high performance digital pulse compression system can be achieved on the basis of general DSP.
