Abstract
Thispaperpresents thedesign of high gain wide-band Minkowski single -layer T-probe coupled patch antenna, using a T-probe to feed a single layer patch antenna along withfractal geometry, the antenna bandwidth, gain are remarkable increased, antenna size is reduced about 70%of its original size and more importantly radiation pattern is stable across entire pass-band. The simulated gain is above 11dBi, upper and lower frequency ratio is 3.3. The antenna bandwidth covers IEEE.11a 5.8GHz, ISM2.45GHz, WIMAX (3.2-3.8GHz)satellite TV in Ku band (11.7-12.2GHz) and other useful frequencyband. To explore antenna performance such as return loss, gain, radiation pattern CST Microwave Studio 2012 is used and measured S11 is presented.
