A FTN rate transmission scheme for multi-band optical transmission systems

Abstract

We introduce a transmission scheme using Fast-than-Nyquist rate in multi-band optical transmission system. A method of non-orthogonal transmission through doubinary filter is proposed and applied in multi-band optical transmission system. The simulation results show that FTN transmission can enhance the spectral efficiency of system, and we can restore signal through force zero equalization technology.
