A dual polarization multi-layer array antenna used by digital system

Abstract

A dual polarization monopulse multi-layer array antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna may achieve polarization diversity and multi-polarization angle error extraction abilities with this design. A dual polarization antenna is accomplished with multi-layer dielectric and mixed feeding. By controlling the amplitude and phase, the antenna obtain sum and difference beam and error curves in a variety of polarized wave on two dimensional. The measurement show that the difference polarization beam's depth of zero <-30dB, the flatness between the two crests in difference beam <0.7dB which has an ideal value for the detection system.
