Abstract
An efficient divergent synthesis of substituted 1,8-naphthyridine and hydropyridopyrimidinone derivatives was developed by the reactions of o-aminocyanopyridines and ketones based on different catalytic conditions. Catalyst-controlled cyclization pathways for the divergent synthesis of 1,8-naphthyridines and hydropyridopyrimidinone derivatives has been developed.
